Climbing
For everyone, indoor and outdoor
For everyone, indoor and outdoor
One of the first instincts as a child is to climb onto everything and anything. Thanks to this instinct, some great men reached unthinkable heights. You can discover your limits liberating your inner child.
The route taken during a climb is called the climbing route, which is different from the “via ferrata”, or fixed rope route. Sport climbing is based on permanent anchors, anchored into the rock for protection. Because the equipment used is solely for protection and not to advance the climb, sport climbing is considered a form of free climbing.
Climbing isn’t just about scaling heights; it’s a metaphor for overcoming challenges together. In team building, climbing serves as a powerful activity that fosters trust, communication, and collaboration. As individuals navigate the ascent, they rely on each other for support, encouragement, and guidance. Each step requires clear communication, shared goals, and mutual reliance, reinforcing the importance of teamwork. Additionally, facing the physical and mental obstacles of climbing together creates a bond that extends beyond the climbing wall, strengthening relationships and improving team dynamics. In essence, climbing embodies the essence of teamwork, making it a key activity for any team-building endeavor.
Highlights
Examples of climbs:
La Gruviera.
Climbing is a technical activity and there are many ideal itineraries to take ones first steps and get used to the grip of shoes on rock. The wall of the Gruviera is formed by great corners and leaning walls, some furrowed by cracks and particular holes. La Gruviera has a total of 34 paths. The average length is of 30 metres, with a minimum of 18 metres and a maximum of 110 metres.
Singlin.
It is possible to find both easy, leaning walls, and also steep cliffs with physical climbs. They have always been the climbing gyms for the alpine guides of the Matterhorn, many of whom trained for the more challenging climbs at the “Gran Becca”. The routes of the wall are of modern style and are never too easy. The most interesting sectors are the gym sector, the sector of Geoffres of Bousserailles, and the big wall. The cliff has a total of 59 routes divided into various sectors. The average length is of 20 metres, minimum of 8 metres, and a maximum of 130 metres.
